From Garage Finds to Community Gems
The Thrift Boutique began as a humble garage venture by Greek-American entrepreneur Lazaros Giannos, who immigrated to the United States in 2008. Starting with storage auction treasures, Lazaros transformed his passion for uncovering hidden gems into a thriving thrift store that now serves Maryland's communities.
Our Journey
What started with sorting and selling items from a garage quickly outgrew its space. The overwhelming support led to a small storefront on North Point Blvd., and within two years, the demand necessitated an even larger location. Today, The Thrift Boutique proudly operates a 3,500-square-foot at 1589 Merritt Blvd., offering a diverse selection of affordable fashion and household goods.
Giving Back
At The Thrift Boutique, giving back is part of who we are. Every donation, purchase and visit helps us strengthen the communities we serve. From day one The Thrift Boutique has believed that success means more than selling great products, it means making a positive impact in the community.
We've had the privilege of supporting local schools, educational programs, churches, veterans, community organizations and families in need through donations, sponsorships and fundraising partnerships.
One initiative we're especially proud to support is the L.E.A.R.N. Program, which helps provide resources and opportunities that enrich students educational experience. We believe investing in education is one of the best ways to invest in the future of our community.
